What to Expect?
Thank you for choosing Andrew Ahearn Photography, LLC to capture your special moment. The first step is to contact me here to set up a meeting to discuss the details of your project. This can be done in person or over the phone.
Working out the plan:
We'll go over your ideas and what you want captured in photos. If you have any special requests we can talk about the best way to incorporate them into the photographs. We'll talk about location, the best time for the photo shoot, and how to prepare. We'll cover what outfits look best in photographs. If you don't know where to have your pictures taken, don't worry. I know lots of great locations around the area that have plenty of opportunities to capture a variety of looks.
The day of your custom photo session:
The big day has arrived. If you haven't already, check out my Style Guide here. It offers great tips to help you look your best. We will meet at the location and go over any last minute details. Then the fun begins! Relax and breath, I am there to coach you through the photo shoot. We will capture a variety of looks, from serious to fun smiling shots. Don't worry about posing, I will guide you throughout the shoot. You can change outfits as much as we have time for. I provide a pop-up changing tent to give you privacy while you change. Anyone under 18 requires a parent to be present during the entire photo shoot.
After the Shoot:
After your photo shoot I will go through all the photos we took. I delete any blurry, non-flattering, or other photos that, for whatever reason, didn't turn out. I select the best images and professionally edit them. I don't apply generic "filters" to photographs. My editing style is timeless where I carefully adjust colors and lighting to look true to life. I crop each image, soften skin, and if needed can remove most blemishes.
I take the final image selections and create a custom, secure online photo gallery for you. I will provide you with a password to access the gallery and a PIN to download all the images. Within the gallery you are able to view and download all the final photos. Feel free to share them with friends and family or on social media. This online gallery is also connected to a store where you can purchase a variety of prints, gifts, and custom designed special occasion cards, all delivered right to your door.
