My name is Andrew. Photography started as a fun hobby for me many years ago and evolved into a passion. It all started with a simple film camera in the early 2000’s to capture everyday life. That expanded to a basic digital camera, and now professional equipment. My focus early on was to learn as much as I could and capture art through my eyes. In those early days I mostly photographed landscapes and my kids' sports and events. After others saw my photos, I was asked to take some senior pictures. I found taking these portraits exciting as I worked to capture the students in the best possible way. In 2021 I started Andrew Ahearn Photography, LLC, a professional custom photography business based in Milwaukee, WI. Camera and Lenses
With the advent of smartphones, everyone has a camera in their pocket. While these devices do a decent job taking photos, there is no comparison to the high quality images a professional camera and lens offers, especially for capturing portraits, action, and sports. As a professional photographer, I use high quality equipment that captures spectacular images that no smartphone can replicate. I know how to select the right lens and camera settings to achieve a specific look. Hiring me with my professional equipment will ensure great photos!
Editing and Software
Anyone can download an app on their phone and whiten teeth or brighten their image, but that isn't the same as professional software. I utilize high end software to edit your pictures for a classic and timeless look. I carefully adjust colors and lighting to look true to life. I crop each image just right, soften skin, and if needed remove (most) blemishes. After editing I select the best images and create your custom online photo gallery delivered directly to your email. Within the gallery you are able to view/download all the photos and share them with friends and family, or on social media. This gallery is also connected to an online store where you can purchase a variety of prints, gifts, and custom designed special occasion cards all delivered right to your door.
